LAHORE: Jewellery is one important item that women can never have enough of and what can be more interesting when you find them at accessible/affordable prices, designed according to your taste.

Shafiq Habib is one of the most talented and recognised jewellery designers of the country. Once you will enter her store in Gulberg, you can’t help yourself drool over her beautiful jewellery crafts. What is interesting and unique about Shafaq Habib is that she loves art so much that she believes that either a person should be a piece of art or wearing a piece of art. This is the reason why she takes sensation and inspiration from the shapes of the stones. If you look deep into her designs, one will witness the way she has moulded the gold with the flow of the stones and it looks charismatic with the way she plays with the shape of the stones.

She believes that jewellery is an item which not only enhances a woman’s beauty but also gives her a sense of satisfaction. “My brand is not retained to one client only. I design jewellery for each and every woman in society, be it a working lady or a woman coming from a middle class, I accommodate them according to their taste and budget,” Shafaq Habib said.

Habib is a fond traveller and most of the time her inspiration comes during travelling. She takes pride in creating timeless pieces that can be worn at any day or at any stage in life. When asked about her design philosophy, she stated that she does constantly experiments with the shape of the gemstones but also loves to incorporate calligraphy in her designs.
