KARACHI: Khaksar Tehrik activists will gather countrywide to organize different events to pay homage to the freedom fighter, unsung hero, wrangler scholar and the mathematician Allama Innayatullah Khan Al-Mashriqi’s 54th on his anniversary today.
Renowned name Allama Mashriqi, was a revolutionary leader, humanitarian and reformer who bought change and played his part in the freedom struggle in the Indian subcontinent (now comprised of Bangladesh, India, and Pakistan) by starting the struggle by Khaksar Tehreek in 1931.
Talking to Daily Times, Chief of Khaksar Tehreek Pakistan Dr. Sabiha Al-Mashriqi, disclosed that after six decades, all predictions of Allama Mashriqi have proved accurate and it is vital that the nation is still in need of a dauntless leader like the founder of Khaksar Tehreek Allama Mashriqi, who courageously waged wars with the British rulers and many lives of activists were sacrificed in the Lahore massacre on 19thMarch, 1940, added that was actually the foundation day of Pakistan since right after 3 days the resolution was passed.
Dr. Sabiha told that Allama Mashriqi had advised Pakistan Muslim League and the other freedom fighters to struggle only by blood sacrifices for independence of sub-continent and for this objective Khaksar activists were offered to get independence with full respect and integrity, but British conspiracy led the nation to small pieces of land , 1100 kilometers apart , which were ultimately separated.
She disclosed that Allama Mashriqi was an acclaimed mathematician and a foundation scholar, who broke many records in various educational fields in Indo-Pak history . She emphasized that every enlightened person of the nation should be a vigilant due to current scenario since its not favorable for the country’s solidarity and the state of affairs may lead to further destruction as have faced earlier in the shape of Bangladesh epasode.
She warned the political leaders of country to avoid childish attitude towards the issue of solidarity of Pakistan, which is under international conspiracy.
The failures of rulers in every aspect and with the challenges ahead, they are not capable of resolving the issues of increasing lawlessness, unemployment, soaring prices of commodities, high level corruption, terrorism, inflation, poverty, and other numerous issues, she added. Khaksar Tehreek would mark different rallies, conferences and seminars on Saturday in each and every corner of the country to pay homage to the unsung hero Allama Innayatullah Khan Al-Mashriqi, who was born on August 25, 1888 and died in Mayo hospital Lahore on August 27, 1963.
Allama Mashriqi a Mathematician from Christ’s College, Cambridge University, England (1907-1912) and earned four Trophies with distinction in five years (at Cambridge University from 1907-1912) in Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Mechanical Sciences, and Oriental languages ; tittles was awarded at Cambridge University, a Wrangler, Foundation Scholar, and Bachelor Scholar; Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (F.R.S.A) (1923), Fellow Geographical Society (F.G.S) (Paris, France), Fellow of Society of Arts (F.S.A) (Paris, France).
