Two alleged target killers apprehended in Karachi

KARACHI: Manghopir Police claimed to have apprehended two alleged target killers during search operation in Karachi.

On a tip-off, the police conducted a raid in Manghopir area of Karachi where the target killers started firing at the police party. The police retaliated and rounded up two target killers alive. The target killers were identified as Asif Ismail and Abid Ustad.

Accordion to Police sources, the suspects were affiliated with militant wing of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM). The suspects confessed of killing several persons including persons of Ismaili and Bohri sects.

The Police also claimed to have recovered weapons and a motorcycle from their possession. The suspects have been shifted to undisclosed locations for further investigations.
