Sindh to supply desert areas with clean water

MITTHI: Sindh Chief Minister Special Assistant Qasim Naveed said Sindh government was working on different projects of water supply for desert areas of Tharparkar and that out of order RO plants will soon be repaired.

He expressed these views while visiting different villages of district Tharparkar on Saturday to check the condition of RO plans. Taking notice of complaints regarding non-functionality of RO plants, Qasim reached here and sought details of the prevailing functioning conditions of RO plants from Pak osmosis company and district administration.

He directed the Pak osmosis company officials to solve the complaints regarding functioning of solar RO plans as soon as possible and submit the report to him. On the occasion he said clean drinking water is basic right of the people and it is our duty to ensure the same for the masses.

Meanwhile, Qasim Naveed also visited the Civil Hospital Mitthi and got details regarding provison of medical facilities to the patients from the doctors. MPA Mahesh Kumar Malani, Additional Deputy Commseeiner-I Muhammad Hussain Lund and other officials were accompanying him.
