LARKANA: As many as 22,540 people applied for posts of constables in Larkana Police Range of whom 50 failed due to criminal record, eight were arrested for cheating in Kashmore district and four others appeared in exam in place of actual candidates. Cases have been registered against them. Larkana Range Police DIG Abdullah Shaikh Monday told newsmen that all successful candidates will be given appointment orders in the first week of September. He said 6816 of Larkana, 3718 in Kambar- Shahdadkot, 5007 in Shikarpur, 3419 in Jacobabad & 3585 in Kashmore applied and only 2554 have passed test who would appear in viva. Those who did not pass interview may appear in his office on Tuesday. He said transparency and merit was been followed in appointing good character candidates. In Kambar & Shikarpur districts all vacancies could be not filled for which fresh advertisement will be floated soon.
