Indians-internationally acclaimed financial scam artists

The financial and visa frauds/cheating schemes planned and manifested by Indian diaspora have been revealed. Indians have attained mastery to exploit loopholes in the policies, the student visa scams, duping millions of dollars through fake ‘Call Centers’ in US and their latest presentation in Canada is ensnaring Canadians through fake tax network scam.

Canadian people termed Indian scammers as: “They’re nothing but financial terrorists”.74,000 Canadian have complained about the CRA phone scam. More than $16 million dollars have been stolen, making it one of the largest cyber scams in Canadian history. A Canadian federal force is also working in concert with its partners in the ‘Five Eyes’, an intelligence-sharing network that includes Canada, the US, UK, Australia and New Zealand (countries worst hit by India’s scams). Further technical assistance has come from Microsoft, which operates a large cybercrime laboratory at a high-security facility in Washington State. The Indians operate in countries of interest having base in India. A massive call centre scam is under inquiry in US, the amount and magnitude of the fraud is many times more than Canadian scam.

The US, UK, Australia, New Zealand and Canada represent some of the most attractive destinations for international students seeking a world-class, internationally recognized education. These countries and their universities recruit these global students both for their tuition fees and their brain power. During the years 2011-12 intelligence agencies and media reports indicated a surge in student visa frauds from India. Owing to this the governments undertook efforts to crack down on student visa frauds, based on a series of sting operations. The evidence clearly pointed towards involvement of very high percentage of Indian students and visa agents both at home and destination country.

New Zealand’s first Member of Parliament Shane Jones stated that “Indian students are ruining academic institutions in New Zealand”. He was referring to fraud in the education system and exploitation of local students. The MP elaborated that in his opinion, the number of students that have come from India have ruined many of New Zealand’s institutions, who consider it to be a backdoor to citizenship. Mr. Jones made it very clear that he was referring to fraud in the education system and exploitation of students. He reiterated that the New Zealand authorities have “page after page” of examples of Indian students running into problems, including prostitution and crime. Earlier in 2019 too, Mr. Jones had voiced his concerns in relation to Indian community, stating that Indians “have no legitimate expectations in my view to bring your whole village to New Zealand.”

Conclusively, the views of Mr. Jones represent the sentiments of countries where Indian diaspora has a certain form of majority. US had to devise sting operations, Canadians are extremely disturbed by the display of lawlessness affecting public at large is terrorized by these ill behaving Indian students who carry out gangster like acts as frequently done in Indian Universities or Indian public places.

If that was all, Stewart Bell, a Canadian investigative journalist wrote an article on social media website, highlighting that Canadian security officials suspected two Indian intelligence agencies (RAW & IB); targeted an Indian, Editor-in Chief of an unnamed Indian newspaper to influence Canadian politicians to support Indian interests.

The suspect, who was apprehended, denied allegations that he had been “covertly tasked by Indian handlers”, however, he confessed to meeting intelligence agencies in the capacity of an editor. There are credible reports that India also campaigned in Canada against Pakistan and the Stewart Bell has exposed the hostile activities of Indian intelligence agencies against Pakistan and Canada.

Meanwhile, Russia Today aired a program ‘The News with Rick Sanchez’, where the host discussed the overall situation of global pandemic and the fall out of the restrictions on the economy and local population of the respective countries. The lockdown in India, was discussed with Michele Geenstein, an international correspondent. The participant opined that after India went into lockdown, life for the underprivileged class of the population came to a standstill. The talk show was illustrated with media footages, depicting the appalling ground realities, which are in stark contrast to India’s projection of itself as an economic power.
