Islamabad: Zong and Universal Cinemas have entered into an agreement for it to become the exclusive telecom partner with Pakistan’s biggest multiplex cinemas in the Emporium Mall, Lahore.

The multiplex cinemas with 9 screens, the biggest in the nation, will have a total seating capacity of over 1800. Cinema and movie buffs will now be able to enjoy the latest movies on state-of-the-art screens with international standard acoustics and sound quality.

The recently awarded top rated service quality award to Zong by PTA for its outstanding network services to its subscribers is definitely yielding its results for the telecom giant to expand and keep providing its voice and data services to its customers. It is to be noted that Zong has the largest number of 4G sites in the country, more than 3000, with aggressive plans to expand this base by the year end. It is key to mention that Zong also has the largest 4G subscriber base in the country. This agreement would help create a synergy between the two companies to further enhance the cinematic landscape of Pakistan.

Mr Fu Da, Regional Director Commercial Planning and Business Support and Faisal Nisar, General Manager Central along with other senior management from Zong were present on the ceremony. Chairman NishatChunian Group also graced the ceremony along with senior management of Nishat Group, the parent company of Universal Cinemas.
