SARGODHA: The Livestock Department has completed all arrangements to counter Congo virus, ensure sprays at all animal markets and checking of animals at entry and exit points.
Livestock Deputy District Officer (DDO) Tanveer said that vaccination of all animals on the eve of Eid-ul-Azha was being ensured. He said that special surveillance teams have been constituted for field operation in districts of Khushab, Mianwali and Bhakkar. Livestock Director Allah Dawaya Khosa had directed for removing ticks from sacrificial animals to check spread of Congo virus.
