‘Honour’ takes another life in Khairpur

KHAIRPUR: A tractor driver aged 35 on Sunday was shot dead in the name of honour in the limits of Pir-jo-Goth police station. The police said Tooh Jagirani and others shot Soobal Khakhrani at village Chatan Shah; as a result he died on the spot. The police moved the body to Pir-jo-Goth Civil Hospital for postmortem and handed over to his heirs. The police carried out a raid on the village Jagirani to arrest culprits; but the accused had already vacated their houses and had shifted to an unknown area.
