Ghotki police arrested 2,481 outlaws, seized illegal arms in last four months

Khairpur: Ghotki police arrested 2481 outlaws and seized illegal arms in last four months during operation throughout Ghotki district. At news conference in Mirpur Mathelo, DIG Police Sukkur Feroz Shah and SSP Ghotki Masood Bangash said Ghotki police arrested 2481 criminals including 16 most wanted carrying head money in operation meant to eliminate crime. Police seized huge quantity of illegal arms, bullets, 3 aircraft guns, 1 rocket launcher, 2 heavy machine guns, 32 LMG klashnikovs, 50 pistols and 5000 bullets.

Proclaimed criminals – Din Muhammad Shar, Malaho Shar, Jumo Shar, Rahib Shar, Ghulam Shar, Sawan Shar, Bakht Ali, Khato Shar, Qadir Bux, Ibrahim Shar, Amir Bux Chachar, Hasil Shar and Piyaro Shar were arrested. DIG Sukkur said these nominated criminals were wanted by Sindh and Punjab Police in theft, robbery, murder and kidnapping cases.

Earlier police carried out several operations for their arrest but managed to escape. Now Ghotki police arrested them. “On instructions of IG Sindh police we carried out operation in Katcha area of Ghotki. Now there is no no go area in Ghotki. We will extend operation to Sukkur, Shikarpur, Jacobabad and Khairpur districts.”
