It’s not just Karan Johar, guys. Fawad Khan is loved by another Bollywood bigwig. This time, it’s the adorable Ranbir Kapoor!

In ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’, Fawad Khan only had a small but imperative role in the movie and Karan Johar never shied away from singing praises for the actor.

Now, his co-star, Ranbir Kapoor, has opened up about his equation with the ‘Zindagi Gulzar Hai’ star – and it surely is adorable!

In an interview with comedy collective AIB, Kapoor revealed that after the Uri attacks, as the tensions between the neighbouring countries worsened, a week before the release of the movie, people suggested that they should re-shoot the portion of the movie where Khan was cast.

“What people don’t understand is that filmmaking takes time. It takes around three to four months to get a perfect portion of that movie,” he shared.

He also talked about Khan and his experience on working with him.

“I love Fawad as an actor, I love his contribution to the film. Before the release, people were really angry with Fawad being in the movie. But listen, this is talent, man. This is art. There’s no politics. He has not done anything, we haven’t done anything.”

He went on to say, “He’s a great talent, his contribution is also huge. He’s got a huge fan following irrespective of the political climate.”

When asked if he ever felt like the less hot person whenever Khan was in the room, Kapoor quipped, “For sure! Especially Karan! Karan is obsessed with Fawad!”

Talking about Johar and Khan, Kapoor said, “You have no idea the kind of love he feels for him! Suddenly when he was on set, me and Anushka were pushed aside, and he’s giving Fawad directions and then slips on to me and Anushka, ‘Yeah, go ahead!’ But with Fawad, he was giving him layers, like his costume must be worked on, his hair should look perfect!” he added.

Johar himself has confessed that he would always choose Khan over Kapoor!

According to Times of India, KJo was asked to pick his favourite between the two. And the filmmaker’s choice was clear – Khan. Johar said, “I am going to go with Fawad because he is the new novelty and Ranbir knows I am going to go with Fawad.”
