LAHORE: PTI leader, Imran Khan last addressed the participants of his rally around 4:10 pm while on his way to Chairing cross, Lahore on Saturday.

Rally sits still in Shadrah, about to make its move towards Chairing Cross. PTI’s rally seems way behind its schedule, however public strength is increasing as the sun goes down. Imran Khan in his recent address strongly criticised Prime Minister Nawaz for tampering state institutions in order to hide his wealth made through corrupt ways.

Imran accused NAB and FBR chairpersons for their involvement in corruption, clouding Prime Minister’s wealth. PTI chief mentioned the case of AXACT and how it was brought down, drawing similarities with Prime Minister’s Panama Case. “Prime Minister will pay off his ministers, election commission and NADRA to ensure his re-election in 2018” said Khan.

He accused government for using violence to oppress masses. He added that Nawaz Sharif was playing with the nation’s future and wanted to do accountability according to his own law. “Even in 200 years, prime minister will not stand accountable”. Earlier while leaving his Zaman Park residence, Imran Khan said: “The government has stopped our rally by placing containers. I will tell people how Nawaz Sharif has destroyed this country. Our rally today will be historic.”

Roads leading to Mall Road from Shahdara have been blocked for traffic creating trouble for citizens. A child died when he could not reach the hospital on time. A Geo News reporter said that PTI supporters blocked the road leading to the hospital.
