MUMBAI: The onscreen friendship and conflict shared between the characters of Joe and Aditya, aka actors Arjun Rampal and Farhan Akhtar, was one of the prime highlights of their cult film ‘Rock On!!’, and as they are now teaming up again for the sequel titled ‘Rock On!! 2‘, Arjun Rampal recently said that he shares a good bond with the actor-filmmaker.
Talking about it at an event of Yamaha Fascino Miss Diva 2016 grand finale, Arjun Rampal said, “We share a great bond as we know each other for a long time. It’s been almost eight years since ‘Rock on!!’ released. It’s great to be back. On the first few days of the shooting, we were just hanging around with each other. When we started shooting, it brought back so many memories and experiences from the past. It was a beautiful experience working in the sequel,” added the actor.
‘Rock On!!’ is surely considered to be a landmark film in Rampal’s career. Carrying the tag of a star, Arjun was much recognised for his acting after this movie. He was even conferred with the prestigious National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance. Now as the entire team would gear up for the promotions of the sequel, we just have to wait for how this special bond between Arjun and Farhan would do wonders for this second part.
‘Rock On!! 2’ directed by Shujaat Saudagar, also stars Shraddha Kapoor, Prachi Desai, Purab Kohli and Shashank Arora in pivotal parts. It is slated to release on November 11, 2016.
