15 points set up for cash distribution under Ehsaas programme: official

At least 15 points of cash distribution under Ehsaas cash programme of Rs 12, 000 to the families in Abbottabad district have been established for the Phase-I, and additional points will be made with the passage of time to at least union council level.

Ameen Ul Haq, Assistant Commissioner II, while giving details media told that in the first phase, the already registered peoples under BISP will be paid and on Friday, the payments were started at government Girls Degree College Nawan Sher, Qalandar Abad, Harno Aziz Abad, Post Graduate college Abbottabad, Government College of commerce Women, High School Kuthiala (Sherwan) Government College Nathiagali, Degree College Havelian and other points.

A large number of families female and male received their cash compensation on Friday for which police with the office the staff of district administration was present at all points.

For the daily wages workers, data of at least 28,000 affectees have been arranged union council wise till date and is the final stage of scrutiny and they will also be paid in the 2nd phase. All those who got themselves registered as new cases are also being checked by the respective department under the mechanism derived by the KP and Federal government and assured the complete transparency is being carried out with speedy work on the verification and then implementation.

Ameen Ul Haq further told differently departments are working under the directives of district administration which includes Assistant Director of Local Government, revenue department and others without any break.
