KARACHI: Abdul Malik Gaddi, Administrative Judge Anti Terrorism Court, Karachi on Saturday granted B class in jail to three MQM Pakistan leaders – Kunwar Naveed Jamil MNA, Qamar Mansur and Shahid Pasha who are facing trial in August 22, 2016 violence case.
ATC Judge also ordered the release on bail of three MQM lady workers Rabia, Qurratul Ain and Sumera who are accused of attacking media houses on Aug. 22, 2016. Rabia, Qurratul Ain and Sumera were produced before ATC Administrative Judge on Saturday.
Public prosecutor Muzaffar Solangi argued that these three women were involved in August 22 violence and they can be seen in close-circuit camera TV (CCTV) footages.
Advocate Latif Pasha contended that accused women were not included in the FIR and at the time of Aug. 22 violence Sumera was on duty in a private hospital, Rabia & Qurratul Ain were shopping at a general store whose receipts are with them.
Administrative Judge ATC after hearing arguments of public prosecutor and advocate Latif Pasha, granted bail to three MQM women workers on the submission of sureties of Rs two lakhs each.
