Dawlance commits generous donation in fight against COVID-19

Dawlance has committed a generous donation to The Indus Hospital (TIH), to help the nation fight against the threat of coronavirus pandemic. Being the technology-leader in Pakistan’s home-appliances industry, Dawlance is committed in making valuable contributions towards development of health care facilities. TIH is among the most credible and resourceful institutions in Pakistan, that is well-reputed for providing Free-of-cost, high-quality health-care to everyone.

As part of a new CSR initiative by Dawlance, it will provide The Indus Hospital with a generous donation of nearly 120 high-quality appliances, including more than 40 Refrigerators & Freezers, 60 air-conditioners, along with many Microwave ovens, water-dispensers and Electric-Kettles. Dawlance appliances and technologies will enhance the hospital’s capacity to overcome the COVID-19 challenge, by maintaining comfortable room-temperatures to care for the patients, while storing large quantities of Corona kits and testing-samples in the ideal ambient temperature below -20 degrees which shows the reliability of Dawlance appliances.

As the doctors and paramedical staff are the frontline force in the fight against the virus, these reliable appliances from Dawlance will equip them to save more lives, with timely diagnosis, medical-care and treatment for the increased number of patients, expected during this public-health crisis. These products will be used in TIH Laboratories, Blood centers and the Diagnostic-Vans created for Community-based screening. The 50 Mobile-Testing units will be covering many urban areas like; Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta, etc.
