Chitral plans warm welcome for Nawaz

CHITRAL: The representatives of all the political parties in the district have decided to extend a warm welcome to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for his commitment to address the problems being faced by Chitralis.

The decision was taken at a meeting held here on Sunday. MNA Shahzada Iftikharuddin and District Nazim Maghfirat Shah chaired the meeting. The meeting also constituted committees to give final touches to the preparations for the prime minister’s expected visit to the district on September 7.

The participants thanked the prime minister for taking interest in the completion of the Lowari Tunnel project. PML-N District President Ahmed Jan, JUI-F Hussain Ahmed also attended the meeting.
