QUETTA: Another patient suspected of being infected by Congo virus has been admitted in Fatima Jinnah General and Chest Hospital Quetta.
Chief Medical Officer of the facility, Dr. Ebad Notkani said the suspected patient with symptoms of Congo virus hails from Ghosabad area of provincial capital.
The samples have been sent to the laboratory for diagnosis, however, he said the condition of patient is much better. He also said one patient, who was suffering from this deadly virus, has been discharged from the hospital after complete recovery.
Notkani stated that the issue of Congo virus has decreased, therefore, people can go for buying sacrificial animals in the cow markets. However, he advised the people to take precautionary measures while visiting cattle farms.
