E-commerce technology brings era of development, prosperity: Dastgir

ISLAMABAD: Commerce Minister Khurram Dastgir said E-commerce technology will bring an era of development and prosperity in Pakistan.

He was addressing the opening ceremony of first exhibition of hand embroidered shawls prepared by beneficiaries of Benazir Income Support Programme and its E-commerce launch in Islamabad on Monday.

Dastgir said that peace has been restored in the country and terrorists and their remnants have also been eradicated. He said that Pakistan is marching towards economic prosperity and stability under vibrant leadership of the prime minister.

Speaking on the occasion, Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) Chairperson Marvi Memon said that women are backbone of our economy and Benazir Income Support Programme provides them a platform to contribute in the national economy. The exhibition being organised in collaboration with AHAN and TCS will continue till Friday at Lok Virsa.
