People should come out to achieve their rights: Imran

KARACHI: Pakistan Tehrik-e- Insaf Chief Imran Khan on Monday reiterated that people should come out on streets to achieve their rights. “I will take the people to Raiwind after Eidul Azha in this regard.”

Addressing workers of Pakistan Steel Mill PSM who are protesting in regard to the non payment of their monthly wages for the last five months . He said poverty-stricken people and their children are facing multifarious problems and government is doing nothing for them.

He inquired Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif if he was even aware of the hardships of PSM workers, whose wages must be paid immediately. He said PSM was making profits but it has become a loss-making institution now. He warned the government not to privatize PSM.

Imran Khan reached Karachi today to lead Pakistan Zindabad rally and address a public gathering at Nishter Park Karachi on Defence Day Tuesday.

He asserted that National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq that was not “impartial. The Speaker has rejected the reference against PM Nawaz Sharif in Panama Papers but accepted reference against me.”
