19 new cases of COVID-19 reported in Sindh

At least 11 new cases of coronavirus cases were registered in Karachi, while 1 new case of local transmission in Hyderabad and 7 new cases in Larkana were reported on Friday.

According to Sindh Health Department, Karachi has received 164 cases, and 153 cases still under treatment among them 114 cases were cited local transmission.

Moreover 3 cases from Hyderabad and 1 from Dadu, while Pilgrims from Iran in Sukkur and Larkana 272 cases found Positive, which have brought the total number of affected to 440 in the province.

Out of 440 cases in Sindh, 14 patients have recovered so far. All recovered patients belong to Karachi and Hyderabad and there is only one casualty.

Sindh Health Department spokesperson told that 4662 tests have been conducted in Sindh to date.

The number of confirmed Coronavirus cases in Pakistan rose to 1,286 on Friday and Sindh province has highest affected rate due to the Coronavirus which has reached to 440.

Earlier on Thursday, the Sindh government has announced ban congregational prayers in mosques including Friday prayers in the province till April 05 to prevent people from local transmission cases.
