QUETTA: The Balochistan government has released a sum of Rs 560 million for the families of 56 lawyers, who were killed in the civil hospital suicide bombing on August 8. The deputy commissioner of Quetta was assigned to distribute the money among the families. Provincial Minister for Education and Shuhada Committee Chairman, Abdul Raheem Ziaratwa, said that following the instructions of the chief minister, the provincial government has released a sum of Rs 560 million to financially help the families of the victims. He said that each member of the families would also be provided with a government job. “A policy is also under consideration to facilitate in educating the victims’ children” he said. “The government would also provide funds for the boundary wall and other facilities at the land donated by former federal minister Dr Abdul Malik Kasi for the families of the lawyers,” he said.
