Additional Assistant Commissioner, Landi Kotal Shamsul Islam while confirming it on Tuesday said that thoroughly examination and other necessary tests of the suspected were carried out in police hospital, Peshawar and according to the laboratory result he was negative coronavirus and discharged of the health centre.

He said that as per directive of the provincial government partial lock down would be further extended to one week and the officials regularly patrolling in the area to convince residents to follow anti-coronavirus spreading precautionary measures. All picnic sites and shops inside various villages that attracted rush were suspended for visitors and asked them to stay at their homes. Meanwhile extra equipment was supplied to headquarter hospital, Landi Kotal to tackle emergency situation. It is worth mentioning here that so far 903 and 38 COVID 19 positive cases have been reported in Pakistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa respectively while the health department has confirmed 07 deaths in the country.
