He contacted leaders of political parties to convene an all-party conference (APC) on the #COVID19 pandemic.
The Chairman PPP phoned the leaders of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Jamiat Ulema-e Islam (JUI), Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P), PML-Q, Balochistan National Party (BNP) and Awami National Party (ANP).
He talked over phone with Shahbaz Sharif, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Pervaiz Elahi, Akhtar Mengal, Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui and Amal Wali Khan in this regard.
While talking to the leaders of various political parties, Bilawal Bhutto said that all political parties should come to the same page regarding mechanisms and measures to deal with and contain coronavirus in Pakistan.
Political leaders have agreed with the Chairman PPP to convene the APC over video link regarding coronavirus.
Separately, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari while paying rich tributes to Dr Osama Raza has said that he has been martyred while trying to save the lives of others.
He condoled with the family of Dr. Osama Raza and said that he (Osama) was a hero of the nation and every person who sacrifices his or her life for humanity was a hero of the nation.
The Chairman PPP also paid rich tributes to doctors, nurses and all paramedical staff who are trying their best to save the lives of other human beings while putting their own lives at risk.
Bilawal Bhutto asked to make sure that all the doctors, nurses and paramedical staff are safe and working in a protected environment. Pakistan can only overcome this pandemic with the services of doctors, nurses and paramedical staff, he added.
