DERA MURAD JAMALI: Police have arrested a person with fake currency and registered the case against him for further investigation.
A case of use of fake currency was reported at Dera Murad Jamali’s cattle market when the purchaser paid fake currency amounting to Rs 10,000 to the owner of a goat, on Sunday.
The police said that the complainant – Abdul Karim Khoso – lodged a complaint that he brought his goat from his village to cattle market in Dera Murad Jamali for sale and was paid Rs 10,000 for it but the currency later proved to be fake, he told police.
The police on the pointing out of the victim arrested the swindler who was standing at the market at that time. The police also registered case against the accused for using fake currency. Further investigation was underway.
