LAHORE: A ceremony to mark the launch of Food Truck Company (FTC) was held on Saturday amid glitz and glamour of celebrities including singers, models, writers and many more.
FTC is a UK-based brand, which is owned and managed by Waseem Qureshi in Pakistan. Qureshi completed his studies from the US and came back to Pakistan with an ambition to introduce the concept of food trucks in the country. Eating out is one of the favorite entertainments of Lahoris and food on the go is something that matches the interests of people who love to eat and spend time with family or friends in crowded market places.
The launching ceremony was organised by Admax Advertising Agency and attended by a large number of people. Renowned actress and model Natasha Hussain hosted the event, while singer Ali Zafar also climbed the stage to entertain the guests with his popular songs. Other celebrities present on the occasion included renowned actors Babar Ali, Noor, Resham, Meera and Fiza Ali.
FTC introduced four of its specialties, including chicken and beef burgers, wraps and shakes. Another soon-to-be-launched product would be a ‘Nugget Meal’, especially prepared for kids. The food brand is already operational in the city with two of its outlets located on the MM Alam Road and in Barkat Market. Unlike its other mobile vehicles that travel across city and provide food to even those stuck in traffic, these outlets are like a typical eatery where the fans of FTC could always reach and get their favourite meals.
The owner aims to establish a countrywide chain of FTC outlets and bring it at par with other renowned fast food chains, with an added focus on quality while maintaining reasonable prices.
