ISLAMABAD: Intelligence agencies are all set to pick up some wanted persons from Punjab as they got reliable leads during intelligence and combing operations in various parts of the province, sources disclosed.

The main target of intelligence and security agencies would be the facilitators and supporters of terrorist organizations and banned groups, sources disclosed. During an operation in Faisalabad, more than 18 men have been arrested who have close links with political personalities including an influential provincial minister and sources claimed that he may be asked to clear his position by the intelligence agencies.

Sources said that Rana Israr and Mohsin Saleem’s dens were raided by police and other law enforcement agencies for search and in this search operation, huge cache of weapons were recovered from their dens. This action was taken after the disclosure of a terrorist arrested a few days ago who had links to Al Qaeda.
