PML-N MPA disqualified for holding fake degree

ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has disqualified Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) Raja Shaukat Aziz Bhatti for holding a fake degree. A five-member bench of the ECP presided over by the chief election commissioner (CEC) de-seated Shaukat Bhatti of the Punjab Assembly for having a bogus degree. Major (r) Iftikhar Kayani had filed a petition seeking disqualification of Shaukat Bhatti for possessing a fake degree.
