New primary schools

Author: Daily Times

Sir: Recently, the Balochistan government has planned to establish 725 new primary schools in the province under-five-year education plan in which not only new schools will be set-up but all existing schools will be upgraded. This act is being taken by the government of Balochistan is really praiseworthy and appreciative.

In Balochistan, for a long time the school-ages children were neglected and still the province has more than 66 percent children who are out of school.

Despite an education emergency imposed by the provincial government, 963 schools out of more than 13,000 schools in the province are yet to be made functional. Secretary Education Balochistan Shanul Haq termed the lack of building and teacher as the main cause behind non-functioning school.

According to the recent news that in Balochistan five hundred schools will be upgraded to middle level and five hundred middle schools will be upgraded to a higher level. The sources said that under the plan more teachers will be recruited on merit. If 725 new primary schools will be established in Balochistan than almost half of the out of school children will be enrolled in school; they would make their gloomy future bright and incandescent.

We the citizens should also work to enroll the little stars of Balochistan into schools. We the people of Balochistan always content and happy to hear such brilliant news and we appreciate step taken regarding education by the government of Balochistan.
