Two killed during treasure hunt

PARACHINAR: Two persons were killed and two sustained injuries when a group of five friends traded fire when they were on a treasure hunt in Khazana Ghundai, official sources said on Friday.

The sources said that five friends were searching for treasure at Khazana Ghundai at the foothills of Koh-e-Sufaid.

The sources said that the five friends exchanged fire during the hunt, leaving Inayat and Kamal dead while two others Sajjad and Nasrat sustained injuries.

The fifth member of the group identified as Zamir is missing since the incident. The injured were taken to the Agency Headquarters Hospital and were later shifted to Peshawar in a critical condition. Officials of the political administration said that they had started a search for the missing member of the group.
