A woman committed suicide near Shahi Bagh Muhlla within the jurisdiction of New Faujdari police station in Shikarpur on Sunday. A young woman identified as Inayataan, 20, daughter of Arbab Luhar, committed suicide while hanging herself with a fan in her room of the house in Muhlla Shahi Bagh of Shikarpur city. Newfaujdari police rushed to the spot and transported the body to Civil Hospital Shikarpur from where the body was handed over to her relatives after completing necessary medico-legal formalities. According to area police, the cause behind the suicide was said to be a minor issue developed between two sisters in the house. Further police have started investigation into the matter.
