They highlighted the various symptoms of the virus and the possible harms it could inflict. They explained methods to avoid contracting the virus.
This they said while speaking at a coronavirus awareness seminar organized at Syed Abdullah Shah Institute of Medical Sciences Sahwan. Chaired by director of the institute Dr. Moeenuddin Siddiqui, the seminar was attended by medical experts, practitioners, doctors, faculty members and a large number of students and citizens.
In his presidential address, the director of Syed Abdullah Shah Institute of Medical Sciences Sehwan Dr. Moeenuddin Siddiqui talked about the precautions, suggestions and treatment of the disease. He said there was nothing to be scared from coronavirus what people had to do was ensuring safety measure measures.
He said he wanted people to sensitize their family members to this critical issue so that any possibility of the spread of the disease could be controlled. Dr. Siddiqui said that the medical students and health experts were working to find a vaccine and cure for coronavirus adding that the researcher doctors will soon come with solution. “People should not be scared of the virus, they can stay safe and sound only by ensuring precautionary and protective measures”, Dr. Siqqiqui said and added that the people coming from outside to home must properly wash their hands and remain neat and clean. Another speaker DHO Jamshoro Dr. Mushtaque Ahmed Solangi said that the students belonging to medical field should take the responsibility to sensitize their families and others to the burning issue. He gave a presentation on spread, early symptoms, precautionary measures and treatment of the virus in detail. Dr. Manzoor Ahmed Brohi said that Novel Coronavirus outbreak was associated to seafood and animal market in Wuhan, China, and its human-to-human infection occurred mostly through close contact (about six feet). He further said that no awareness campaign had yet been launched anywhere in Pakistan. On the occasion, Zeeshan Hyder Shah, Bashir Khooharo, Ayoub Ahmed, Dr. Najeeb Ahmed Ansari and others also spoke.
