50 Indian nationals among PM’s sugar mill workers

ISLAMABAD: It has been revealed that some 50 Indian nationals are working in various sugar mills owned by the Sharif family in Pakistan. Reliable sources informed Daily Times that a total of 300 Indian nationals were working in the Sharif family’s sugar mills in Pakistan. Daily Times has a list of 50 Indian nationals along with their names and passport numbers.

Several Indian workers amongst the above were known as experts of sugar industry while some of them had been said to be involved in suspicious and mysterious activities in Pakistan. These workers have been allegedly issued Pakistani visas without police verification, the sources said.

It may be mentioned here that Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT)’s Chief Tahir ul Qadri had in a press conference levelled allegations that revealed the presence of 300 Indian nationals in the sugar mills of the Sharif family. He questioned whether they were agents of the Indian spy agency, and promised to release further details. He claimed that those Indian nationals were exempt from verification from police and intelligence agencies, while there was no record of their whereabouts. Even rules were broken while issuing them visas.
