‘China has demonstrated full capacity to contain coronavirus’

China is fully capable to control the effects of Coronavirus and 90 percent of Chinese production facilities has started their operations after new year holidays and life is becoming normal very swiftly, this was stated by Mr. Peng Zhengwu, Deputy Consul General China during the awareness session on “Coronavirus devastations and preventions” conducted by PCJCCI yesterday. He further added that majority of sufferers were the aged people 80+, while only 0.2% were among the youngsters. Four Pakistani students suffered from coronavirus but they recovered swiftly. The Chinese nation and Government have shown full capacity to cope with the adversities of Novel Coronavirus. Pakistan-China Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCJCCI) expressed solidarity with the people of China in fighting against Corona virus by conducting “Solidarity Day with China” in Coronavirus session. PCJCCI -being a China specific Chamber- is very much concerned about the havocs of Coronavirus in China. In this context, Mr. Zarak Khan, President PCJCCI said that we have initiated a series of media interactions through radio, television ,print and social media to diffuse the negativity which have been spread by the western media regarding coronavirus. The keynote speaker for the session was Brigadier Professor Waheed-Uz-Zaman Tariq: national expert on viral diseases and the leading pathologist of the country. The Chief Guest for the event was Mr. Peng Zhengwu; Deputy Consul General China. The session was also attended by Mr. Zarak Khan; President, Mr. Moazzam Ghurki; Senior Vice President, Mr. Salahuddin Hanif; Secretary General and Mr. Ali Reza Rizvi; Chairman Standing Committee on Tourism.
