COMSATS declared number one among Pakistani universities

LAHORE: COMSATS Institute of Information technology (CIIT) once again ranked as the number one among Pakistani universities marked at 601 out of 800 in international ranking by “The Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2016-2017”.

While talking about this achievement, COMSATS Rector Dr S M Junaid Zaidi congratulated the immense support of the current government and especially Minister for Science and Technology Rana Tanveer Ahmad for his patronage and support. He reaffirmed his resolve for the promotion of higher education in Pakistan.

It is pertinent to mention here that few months back, COMSATS had been ranked among top universities of the world by the Nature index, a global ranking authority previously.
