PTI govt has failed to address issues of masses: Liaqat Baloch

Author: Ahmad Nabi

The incumbent government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has failed to address issues of the masses. Political parties, instead of safeguarding interests of the public, get involved in corruption after coming into power. Kashmir is the jugular of Pakistan and we will extend all possible assistance to them till they get independence.

These views were expressed by Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Pakistan Naib Emir Liaqat Baloch while addressing a participatory gathering held in the hujra (male guest house) of Muqtader Shah Afridi in Sadu Khel area of Landi Kotal.

Besides the local leadership of JI, a large number of the party workers, elders and tribesmen attended the moot.

Liaqat Baloch said that the tribesmen had been deceived and after abolishing of Frontier Crime Regulation (FCR) and merging into Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, as they were still being denied their basic rights. He added that for the last seven decades military dictatorship had been prepared pro-military politicians nursery had been that had suspended genuine democratic system in the country. “Maximum population of Pakistan are serving their lives below the poverty line but a handful rulers misusing their tax paying money on their luxury that is injustice to them,” Baloch remarked.

He maintained that the incumbent was amalgamation of incompetency and poor administration that further multiplied problems of people and JI was the best alternative to run the government with honesty and efficiency. He blamed the rulers for turning to either capitalist or socialist system although progress of the country hided in implementation of Islamic law for that the JI was striving for the last seven decades. He blamed the Imran Khan led PTI government that failed to diplomatically highlight Kashmir cause and that was the reason that Kashmiris had been locked down for the last 200 days. He urged America and other intervenes to leave Afghanistan and let the Afghan people decide their own future. He said that JI would launch a massive public approach campaign throughout the country in near future to get rid of corrupt system. General Sectary JI, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Abdul Wasey, Ameer Khyber Muhammad Rafiq, Murad Hussain and others also spoke on the occasion. A number of locals announced their defection to the JI.
