ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party leader Yousaf Raza Gilani on Thursday said probing of Panama leaks is the need of the hour.

He was addressing a PPP meeting. He said Nawaz Sharif has closed the doors of his own accountability by making an alliance and due to which the political instability is increasing in the country. He said the country would be in mayhem if Panama leaks was not probed.

Gilani said that PPP is the party of federation and those who think that it has been finished are actually living in a fool’s paradise. The party would get overwhelming majority in the 2018 general elections.

Gilani said the 2013 election was rigged but the PPP would not allow the same in the future. He advised workers to get prepared for the coming elections.

He said the developmental projects started by PPP are still incomplete and the party would complete them after coming to power. He said the PPP fulfils its pledges while other parties only make tall claims. The PPP is the only party during whose tenure all the segments of the society get progress. He said the PPP could never be finished as it is an ideological party.

“The pioneer of PPP Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto gave the gift of nuclear bomb to the nation and made the defence of the country invincible. India can only give threats buy it has no courage to face Pakistani nation,” he added. PPP leader Faisal Sakhi Butt also spoke on the occasion.
