Karachi Green Line service

Sir: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif inaugurated Green Line bus project in Karachi on February 26, 2016. The total length of the track from Surjani to Saddar is 22 km, while the infrastructure length is 18.4 km of which 11.7 km is elevated.

It is a great idea as we can see there is a lot of traffic in Karachi and this Karachi Green line metro bus can travel quickly and the Passengers would also benefit from this service.

The Karachi green line (or Karachi Metro bus service) is mass rapid transit bus system and is expected to carry 300,000 passengers daily. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.16.085 billion and the expected completion date is June 2017.
