Four more polio cases

Author:

Sir: Four more polio cases are reported in the first 45 days of the year 2020. These cases are reported in Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Previously, eight cases were reported in 2017, 12-cases in 2018 and 144 cases in 2019.

The positive efforts of our country against polio eradication is continuing and efforts will become fruitful.

It is time to conduct awareness campaigns to educate the public about the importance of polio vaccines because some religious elements are involved to resist polio eradication.
