Fawad’s ADHM, Mahira’s Raees release troubled

MUMBAI: Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan’s Pakistani roots might be risking their career in Bollywood with so many rises in Political unrest.

It has been quite a hard time for the Pakistani artists who hold no sort of political agenda. In the wake of 23rd September 2016, MNS has given Pakistani artists in India an ultimatum that they should leave the country within 48 hours or will be pushed out of the country.

Maharashtra NavnirmanSena, famously known as MNS, seemstoo jumped up to the opportunity with the intense tensions India is facing with Islamabad. They have asked Pakistani artists such as Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan, to leave the country within the said time period.

One of the leaders of the party has issued a 48-hour deadline, post which he has stated that the MNS would “push them out”. AmeyKhopkar, chief of the MNS’s cinema workers’ unit ChitrapatKaramchariSena, informed a news agency, “We give a 48-hour deadline to Pakistani actors and artistes to leave India, or MNS will push them out.”

Khopkar went a step further and said something really cringe worthy, “Pakistani artistes will get beaten up. Along with them, we will also beat up whichever producer or director is with them.” The chauvinistic party has been behind the lives of Pakistani artists in India for quite a while now.

The current political state between India and Pakistan is going through a very cold space as of now. However, jumping up to add more fuel to this fire, the party leader has made some shocking statements.

Obviously, they have also said that Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan’s upcoming films, AeDilHaiMushkil and Raees won’t be released in India. MNS leader Shalini Thackeray added that their political party will not allow any Indian filmmakers to make films with Pakistani artistes.Even Shah Rukh Khan’s 2017 film Raees starring Pakistani actor Mahira Khan is in trouble for the same.

Well, this isn’t the first time Mahira has had her taste of tussle with a political party (remember even in 2015, she had a tussle with Shiv Sena). A large number of Pakistani actors and artists with big Bollywood projects in hand, such as, Ali Zafar, Mahira Khan, RahatFateh Ali Khan, Imran Abbas and MawraHocane are in grave trouble because of the political pressures.

Sadly, just a few moments ago Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’s trailer was released and already the film has embroiled itself in deep trouble. Will all this resolve and the film release or will it be pushed to avoid crisis?
