Marquez on pole for Aragon Grand Prix

ALCAQIZ, Spain: MotoGP world championship leader Marc Marquez claimed pole position for the Aragon Grand Prix for the fourth consecutive season after overcoming a crash in practice on Saturday.

The Spaniard dislocated his shoulder as one of seven riders to crash in the third free practice session, but recovered to post a fastest time of 1min 47.117sec. Maverick Vinales and defending champion Jorge Lorenzo completed an all-Spanish front row. Marquez’s closest championship rival Valentino Rossi will start from sixth.
