PPP-PTI alliance to be disastrous for economy: SUP chief

Sindh United Party (SUP) President Syed Jalal Mehmood Shah has said that the economic conditions will worsen if the PTI and PPP will join forces in this political scenario.

He said that more corruption will increase, if the PPP will be a part of Federal government with PTI.

Syed Jalal Mehmood Shah was addressing the press conference at Dadu press club on Wednesday.

He said that country was passing through economic crosses due to corruption. He said that economic worsened conditions had affected the routine lives of the people as un-employment ratio had more increased. He said that federal government of PTI was going to sign NRO with PPP.

Syed Jalal Mehmood Shah speaking on development of cities and towns in Sindh, he said that the infra-structure of cities and towns was not good as citizens were facing troubles of water supply, drainage. He said that the funds of development schemes of urban areas were embezzled. He said that even funds of development schemes of rural areas were shifted at urban areas and were not utilized properly. He said that the conditions of rural areas also worst and villages were not developed.

Speaking on coming local bodies elections in Sindh, he demanded holding the local body’s election on a time. He said that if local bodies election will delayed, it will cause loss to the democracy on gross route level.

Speaking on appointment of jobless youths in police department, he said that since the posting of AD Khawaja as IGP in Sindh, it was merit in police department but the if the merit will not be followed in appointment in police department, the corruption and crime will increase through appointment of thieves and criminal people.

He said that youth was confused due to wrong policies of the rulers in center and province. He said that poverty ratio had increased. He said that the suicide ratio was highest among youths. He said that lower class and middle class was facing hardships as only upper class was dominated. He said that rights of eligible people were affected. Speaking on oil and gas multinational companies, he said that eligible youths were not appointed in oil and gas multinational companies in Sindh. He said that people related with other provinces were appointed in the skilled and un-skilled jobs in oil and gas multinational companies in Sindh. He said that every day, billions dollars were earned by oil and multinational companies but they had completely neglected Sindhi people in jobs and developments.

He said that police was not arresting the accused nominated in FIRs of murdered of SUP activists in Kotri, Hyderabad and Thullah. He was accompanied by Roshan Ali Burio, Idres chandio, Sikandar Sodhar, Jagdesh Ahoja and other leaders. On that occasion, he congratulated the new elected body of Dadu press club.
