CM to address concerns of Shia community

SHIKARPUR: A special delegation of Shuhada Committee Shikarpur met with Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah during his visit to Sukkur.

According to Sikandar Ali Dal the Shuhada Committee has showed their deep concerns over the burning issue of terrorism in Sindh, especially in Shikarpur, Jacobabad and adjoining districts, and other issues being faced by Shia community. Besides, Shia community requested to the Chief Minister to issue them arms licenses for their safety. According to the Shia leader, CM Sindh immediately ordered to Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Police Larkana to verify the list of arms licenses provided by Shia leaders and formed a committee in this regard. The committee’s members are: former MPA Imtiaz Ahmed Shaikh, Provincial Minister Syed Nasir Shah, Meer Hazar Khan Bijarani, Meer Mumtaz Khan Jakhrani, Chairman Shuhda Committee Shikarpur Allama Maqsood Ahmed Domki, Allama Abdul Majeed Bhishti, Allama Sikandar Ali Dal and Fida Abbass. The CM told the Shia leaders that Sindh government is committed to eliminate terrorism in the larger interest of people of Sindh.
