Imran in the town to garner support for Raiwind march

KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan on Saturday claimed that his party is a uniting force and representative of strong federation.

“That’s why it is popular among the masses,” said Imran during his 2-day visit to Karachi to achieve the objectives of the party’s Raiwind March. PTI Sindh’s President Arif Alvi, Imran Ismail, MPA Khurram Sherzaman and others received PTI Chairman Imran Khan at Karachi airport.

Talking about Karachi public rally, he said it was not a failure as Nishter park gathering was for a specific purpose and they achieved their objectives.

“Those who say people don’t pay heed to our calls will be defied on the 30th,” said Imran, adding that they are against Altaf Hussain because he is the brand of terrorism and to make it known PTI stood against the threats to the country.

Regarding the Raiwind March, he said the PML Nawaz government would be responsible for any disturbance or hindrances to this peaceful march. Imran Khan said “We just want to jolt the conscience of the judicial system into acting against corrupt practices.” He said NAB, FBR and other institutes should play their roles independently.
