3,250 litres of Iranian oil, wine, sophisticated weapons seized

Shikarpur Police Chief Dr Rizwan Ahmed Khan handed over the recovered articles worth at least Rs 3 million, including 17 snatched motorcycles, 7 buffaloes, 8 goats, a cow, 12 mobile phones, cash Rs 104800 and 50 mobile recharge cards of multiple companies, and two air conditions to their real owners during an even held at the premises of SSP Office. The articles had been looted/snatched within two months.

Police Chief Shikarpur said that Shikarpur police have conducted 50 raids during December 2019 to January 2020 and apprehended 39 proclaimed offenders and seized 02 Kalashnikovs, 01 Rifle, 27 Shotguns, 41 TT Pistols, 03 Revolvers, 04 Repeaters and a good quantity of bullets from the possession of arrested criminals adding police have also succeeded in seizing 3250 litres of Iranian Oil, 10 Litres of wine in multiple raids carried out by police against criminals.

Police Chief Shikarpur also said that Shikarpur police also have recovered a abductee Rabish alias Ravi Masih, inhabitant of Gujranwala, Punjab province, after an encounter took place next to Choee Shaakh [Irrigation Canal] who came to Shikarpur to meet his girlfriend by luring phone call, when kidnappers were shifting him to change their location, but police foiled their try and released abductee and lodged an FIR against unknown kidnappers.

Dr. Rizwan Ahmed Khan also gave appreciations certificates on keeping an eye over performance of police officers and officials including Shah Jahan Shah, Muhammad Ali Soomro, Altaf Kandhro, Gulzar Buriro, Ali Akbar Jahangir Abbasi, Ali Baig Bijarani, Muhammad Ali Khuhro, the SHOs, respectively, and Fatah Muhammad Dal, Salahuddin Mahar, and Roshan Soomro, the WHCs, respectively.

SSP Shikarpur said that Shikarpur police have committed to eliminate crimes from grass route level and no one would be allowed to take the law into his hands otherwise who would be dealt with Iron hands and advised the criminals to surrender themselves before police for the welfare of their families because ultimately criminal would be taken to task.

The 50 raids were carried out by Lakhi gate, Stuart Ganj, New Faujdari, Karan Sharif, Jahan Waah, Khanpur, Abad Milani, Sultan Kot, Madeji, Rahimabad, Gaheja, Lodra, Mian Jo Goth, Dakhan, Rustam, Garhi Yasin, Jagan at Hamayoon, Kot Shahoo, and Imrote Sharif police stations, respectively.

The owners who received their stolen/snatched articles expressed their full faith and acclaimed the efforts of Shikarpur police.

Moreover, SSP Shikarpur Dr. Rizwan Ahmed Khan, also advised the people of Sindh mainly Shikarpur to avoid believing female voice over the phone and don’t come in greed to meet female on the designated place for the larger interests of their family members.
