LONDON: Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has refused to meet former interior minister Chaudhary Nisar after the latter arrived in London last night for a two-week visit to the United Kingdom.

Ch Nisar left for London 2days ago and it was expected that he will meet with Sharif brothers.

But now sources confirmed that Nawaz Sharif doesn’t want to meet with his ex-partner in politics.

According to sources, the former premier believes that meeting Nisar would send the wrong message out to his aides who had stood by him in tough times, unlike Nisar.

“PML-N supporters will rebel against leadership if Nisar is accommodated into the party again,” a source said.

On the other hand, Chaudhary Nisar also refused to meet Nawaz Sharif.

Responding a question while talking to media in London about to inquire Nawaz Sharif’s health, Nisar said there is a problem in my health so i hope so, he must come to inquire about my health.

According to the sources, senior PML-N leaders Shehbaz Sharif and Ishaq Dar made an attempt to bring both leaders close to each other but when they were asked whether they made any effort in this regard they refused to accept.

The sources, however, say that Nisar also lost his friends after his open differences with the former Prime Minister, though, he is considered a close ally of former Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

“The meeting with Nisar will send an odd message to his friends and aides,” Nawaz Sharif said. The sources say that there will be backlash if Nisar is given space again in the party.
