Sir: A few days ago I visited a village near Khipro district Sanghar. It was all great, but regretfully the condition of government schools and a few unpleasant remarks of parents regarding the situation of education drew my attention towards the pathetic condition of schools in the region.
When I went to see a few schools, I found that roofs of the schools were entirely damaged and there were no blackboards and suitable seating arrangement. Moreover, some students asserted that they mostly leave school before 11 am due to the regular absence of their teachers. On the other hand, parents also spoke that many children do not go to school because of the teachers’ behaviour.
They claimed that such kind of ill situation had forced their children to leave schools to work in the fields. It is an entreaty to the government and the authorities concerned to take serious action towards teachers and maintenance of schools so that the desirable consequences come forward.
