QUETTA: The Frontier Corps shot dead a militant during an operation in Dera Murad Jamali area of Nasirabad district on Sunday. According to an FC spokesman, the FC personnel, on a tip, carried out a search operation in Dera Murad Jamali. During the operation, an alleged militant, Zafar Bugti, opened fire at the raiding team. The FC team retaliated and killed the militant. A huge cache of arms and ammunitions, including five kilogrammes of improvised explosive devices (IED) with detonators wires, remote and one SMG was recovered from his possession.
