It is not a secret anymore that the BJP and Narendra Modi share passionfor implementation of Hindutva across India and will go to every extent to do so. Delhi has now become a centre of rift between Hindutva nationalists and Indian patriots. Consequently,it has affected the economy that India had strengthened in decades but is now at the disposal of the BJP andModi. The shovel of Hindutva is digging the grave to bury the long cherished Indian romance with democracy. India’sBJP rulers are clapping at the death of India’s democracy.

The world can see that Muslims are in the crosshairs of the BJP. The social crevices created by the BJP has brought India to its knees, but the centre is stubborn to impose its diabolic understanding of Hindu fundamentalism. Even though chief ministers of many states have refused to be a party to CAB and its implementation, the BJP government has approved funds for the population registration and the voyage continues.

The damage has already been done; the divide has been created and it will have long lasting repercussions for India. Legislative nuking in India will shake the social tectonic plates of India. Moreover, if the situation prevails it will create an undeniable effect on the differences between not only Hindus and Muslims but among every minority.That will escalate not in months but in days. Even if the situation calms down, which does not seem to be a possible outcome, there will still remain a sense of ambiguity in Muslims regarding their future.

The imminent threat to India’s social fabric is the BJP and its fundamentalist ideas. Although it has created what it wanted, it seems that the Modi-led BJP will only go further in their ‘holy pursuit’.

Whereas many chief ministers have refused to implement the NRC, in UP ruled by Yogi Adityanath, there are threats to protestors to confiscate their properties for the damage done to public properties by the protestors. Here it is important to mention that he is the same Yogi Adityanath who openly called Muslims a “virus.”

Rather than taming the situation in the sanest manner possible, the BJP is creating a situation of civilian vscivilian. Mass protests are being staged, and the BJP is using variouspretexts to use violence on protestors. The BJP’s attemptto hide from being the direct perpetrators of violence using police is not working. The internment camps are being constructed in order to ‘de-radicalise’ the Muslims.

Keeping in mind that Modi has not lifted curfew in the Indian-occupied Kashmir, it should be clear that the BJP would not be willing to demoralise its fundamentalist militia by any move torevoke the CAB. Henceforth, the situation in India only seems to be worsening. Modi will go to any lengthin his hatred of Muslims to protect his idea of ‘Hindufying’ the Indian society. Shackles of Hindutva have grasped the Indian society;things will keep worsening under the leadership of Modi and Amit Shah. So far, many lives have been sacrificed in BJP’s Hindutva.It has been foretold that more will be victimised given the rebellion of Indian masses. Cities in the UP are facing a major cyber blackout.

The subcontinent has been shaken by Modi’s politics, and if considerable measures are not taken by the international community, BJP’s actions will likely to intensify. There was a time when India constantly blamed us for being a volatile nuclear state and alleged that Pakistan’s nukes could be dangerous for the world. Given the current events, the safety of South Asian nuclear arms is still important, but the only difference now is that it is India and Modi’s madness that has made South Asian border lines a nuclear hotspot.India needs action in the right direction or things will escalate as Modi romances with Hindutva.
