KHAIRPUR: One villager was killed while two got injured due to firing by some armed persons near Khairpur on Sunday. According to details, some robbers entered into the house of Wali Muhammad Narejo at village Waris Ghambheer in the jurisdiction of Piryaloi police station and left with two cattle. The villagers chased them but they started firing on the villagers, resultantly Munir Shaikh died on the spot while Imran Dharejo and one more got hurt. The culprits ran away. The injured were brought to civil hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, villagers strongly protested against the Piryaloi police for increasing crime rate in the area. They demanded the transfer of SHO.
